Whakahaumaru – Silks Audit are proud sponsors of the Stars Academy. The STARS Rugby League Academy is a programme that aims to elevate potential within Rangatahi proving them with the relevant opportunities, time, tools, and teachings to not only excel within sports, but within everyday life. This year the juniors had the opportunity to train at the Warriors facilities and meet their idols along with training at the gum of UFC legend Izy Adesanya. Housing dream becomes reality for Ratana Pā pair
While higher interest rates might be cooling the housing market, in the tiny town known as Ratana Pā, the demand is still higher than the supply.
Just south of Whanganui, Ratana Pā is the birthplace of the Māori prophet Tahupotiki Wiremu Ratana. It’s home to just 345 people.
The settlement is virtually landlocked by farms, making it hard for successive generations to build new homes.

Battalion Jiu – Jitsu – new mats
2022 has kicked off with a bang!
This week we were lucky enough to receive our new mats. We assembled a team and installed them over the weekend. Battalion now has a huge 105 square meters of mat space surrounded by super comfy wall pads! We are so proud to deliver a super safe and hygienic training space for our students.
This would not have been possible without some amazing organizations that support us. We have to give a MASSIVE thank you to New Zealand Community Trust, Toi Foundation and Silk Audit Chartered Accountants who all donated towards our new mats.
Secondly we want to thank Sheryl and Peter at Gymmats.co.nz for supplying such an amazing product. Their communication and quality has truly been amazing.
Lastly we have to thank our students and parents for the continued support. You guys are the best!
2022 is going to be a great year!
