Silks is proud to support a number of local organisations, business, and events. We are a strong supporter of giving back to the community and encouraging those in the community. Below is who we currently support and have done in the past.
Great to support Whanganui Rugby at the 2021 season launch. Despite the COVID announcement everyone was in high spirits as the team have had a great pre season and we wish the team all the best for the season.
Tune in every Tuesday at 4.30pm on 104.4 FM Access Radio – to hear 9 year old Mahia talk about his life growing up in Taranaki. Silks audit are proud to support tamariki and rangatahi who are giving things a go and pursuing their dreams. Ka pai Mahia.
Olympic swimmer Zac Reid was the winner of the Silks Audit Sportsperson of the Year award at the Taranaki Sports Awards 2021. Reid, who will represent New Zealand at the Tokyo Games starting this month, won the top award – on Friday night, and was also named Senior Sportsman of the Year. In his absence due to pre – games preparations Zac’s parents accepted the award on his behalf.
Silks Audit is incredibly proud to support the under 8 Rātana Junior Rugby team. Talia and Cameron – directors and audit partners of Silks Audit had the privilege of presenting the team with their new hoodies to keep them warm before and after their Saturday morning matches. This team of little superstars work hard on the field and are great examples of putting in the hard work to achieve your dreams.
Silks Audit continues to support UCOL students entering the workforce with confidence by gaining knowledge and experience in a friendly environment with plenty of opportunity to train on the job.
Silks Audit supports the Goal Diggers to play weekly at Action Indoor Sports Taranaki. Thanks to Coach Aish and the team, Hunter, Tyler, Rakei, Pounamu, Belle, Tia, Poppy and Quinn. You are consistently proving yourselves as fair, joyful players on and off the court.
Silks Audit is proud to support this awesome charity that promotes health, fitness, whanau and positivity. Greg and Shell work extremely hard to juggle full time employment, two busy children and this club that gives back to their community in so many different ways.
Access Radio Taranaki supports many youth, giving them a voice in our community and teaching them all there is to know about radio.
Silks Audit are proud to support and display our sign at the home to Peter Snell’s world record breaking mile in 1962, Cooks Gardens is renowned for its sporting and athletics events. This premier venue also offers a unique track-side venue for conferences, meetings, product launches, and weddings. The venue is equipped with a fully operational kitchen and bar, ensuring all your food and beverage requirements can be catered for.
Silks Audit are proud to support Netball Whanganui. Netball Whanganui organises the local competition for Premier, Club, and school netball at Laird Park and the Stadium and also responsible for the Representative team and programs and umpiring.
